Caló d’en Monjo is a small, unspoilt small beach surrounded by cliffs. It´s approximately 15 m long and 4 m wide, with pebbles and shingle. To get here, from Cala Fornells there is a track on the right that goes up in a straight line and turns to the left. It´s just a short walk.
Cala Fornells is a small, beautiful beach with coarse sand which can get crowded. It´s 30 m long and 20 m wide and some terraces have been built on the rocks to enlarge the sunbathing area. To get here, simply follow the signs from Peguera.

Caló de ses Llises is a beach covered with pebbles and shingle which is set amongst ten-metre-high cliffs; it is 25 m long and 30 m wide and is backed by a pine grove. The seabed is covered by rocks and shingle, and halfway between the shore and the mouth of the inlet there is a rock which is used for diving into the water by children and adults. This spot, with an exclusive residential area, is half hidden amongst the pine trees just next to the road that goes from Peguera to Cala Fornells, just before getting to Cala Fornells.
Peguera Palmira beach is an excellent sandy spot which is 500 m long and 40 m wide. Surrounding the beach up to Punta des Carabiners, which closes the beach off at its eastern end, there is a paved promenade, which is lined with palm trees, lots of apartment blocks and all kind of open-air bars. Most of the streets in Peguera will take you to this beach.

Peguera Torà beach is a vast sandy beach which is separated from Peguera Palmira by Punta des Carabiners and which is 190 m long and 65 m wide. You can walk from Peguera Torà to Peguera Romana along the shore. Most of the streets in Peguera will take you to this beach.

Peguera Romana beach is also known as Platja dels Morts (The Beach of the Dead), because the remains of hundreds of prehistoric burial sites were found near here. It is 90 m long and 60 m wide, with fine white sand which extends out onto the seabed. It preserves a large part of its original vegetation, such as pine trees and some savin trees with twisted branches. If you go round a rocky inlet you will find another small cove, but with rocky a shore and seabed. To get here, there is a path leaving from Peguera Torà that goes along the coast to this beach.

Santa Ponça beach is a vast sandy expanse which is 550 m long and 100 m wide. There are some palm trees surrounding the beach, as well as many pine trees. It is located in the centre of Santa Ponça, by the street of Carrer Puig des Galatzó.

Caló d’en Pellicer is a small beach with fine golden sands. It is 25 m long and 150 m wide. Two thirds of the beach are covered with pine trees and tamarisks. To get here, Avinguda Rei Jaume I goes straight to the beach, which is just after the square of Plaça Santa Ponça in Santa Ponça town.

El Toro beach has fine sand and is 125 m long and 30 m wide. The residential area of El Toro has many bungalows, and the beach is very near the mouth of Port Adriano. To get here from Santa Ponça, follow Avinguda Rei Jaume I, passing the sailing club, until it comes to an end and joins the Via de les Penyes Roges, which leads to Port Adriano and to the beach.

Cala Figuera is an unspoilt beach which is surrounded by vertical cliffs and which is shaped like an arm in the sea that gets narrower and narrower, with just a handful of sand at the end. It is 12 m long and 10 m wide and is located in a protected area with well preserved vegetation. To get here, you have turn left off the C-719 just after Magaluf onto the road that goes to the lighthouse at Cap de Cala Figuera, near the old army facilities.
Sa Caleta de Portals Vells is a small unspoilt beach which is 20 m long and 100 m wide. The seabed near the beach is sandy and quite flat, and the waters are very calm, which make it a perfect place for children. It is also a good spot for snorkelling. The area is covered with a thick forest of pine trees. Opposite the beach, outside this protected area, is the residential area Sol de Mallorca. This area offers many opportunities for walking along the cliffs or through the pine-covered hills. On the left you can see the remains of the Moro tower, built in 1580. To get here you have to walk right from Sa Platgeta de Portals Vells for 200 m.
Sa Platgeta de Portals Vells is an unspoilt beach which is 60 m long and 70 m wide, with fine white sands. It has a sandy seabed, apart from at the right-hand edge, and is almost flat, making it ideal for children. During the summer, especially at the weekends, it gets crowded. On the left of the beach there is a cave in the talus, where the image of a virgin appeared and remained until the 18th century; the image is thought to have come from a boat left it there in the 15th century after getting caught in a storm. Nowadays it is in the Oratory of Portals Nous. The special lithology of this area, with stone that is very easy to work, meant that rock could be extracted from here during the 14th and 15th centuries to be used in the buildings of the Cathedral of Palma and the church of Santa Eulàlia. The luminosity and the shape of the rock here catches the attention of visitors. To get here, take the road C-719 that leaves from Palma de Mallorca, and just after Magaluf take a left turning that goes to Cap de Cala Figuera and Portals Vells. Behind the beach there is a car park.

El Mago beach is a small, unspoilt small cove which is 28 m long and 20 m wide, with fine golden sands and very transparent waters. It is here that the film The Magician was shot in 1967, with popular film stars such as Anthony Quinn, Michael Caine and Candice Bergen. The remains of some of the buildings used for the filming are about 100 m to the left of the beach. To get here, take the road C-719 that leaves from Palma, and just after Magaluf take a left turning that goes to Cap de Cala Figuera and Portals Vells. After passing the turning towards the residential area of Cap de Mallorca, you will see another left turning that will take you to the beach. There is an ample parking area.

The Rei beach is a small unspoilt beach which is 30 m long and 15 m wide and which has fine white sands. The pine grove that surrounds it offers ideal shade when it gets really hot. The seabed is sandy, except at the right edge of the shoreline, where there are many rocks. The seabed is almost flat – 100 m from the shore the water is barely 1.5 m deep. To get here, follow the same directions as for El Mago beach. When you get to the car park walk along a path that begins on the left-hand side and goes along the coastline until you reach the beach, which is 200 m away.

Cala Bella Dona is a small and quiet beach which is just 30 m long and 6 m wide. The sand is white, and the sandy seabed reflects the luminosity of the Mallorcan sun, creating a vast range of blues in the water. There is vegetation surrounding the entire beach, which is unspoilt and free of buildings. To get here, follow the road C-719 from Palma de Mallorca to Andratx, and just after Magaluf take a left turning towards Portals Vells. After approximately 7 km, turn left at a sign towards the residential area of Sol de Mallorca, where Avinguda Balear leads to some steps that go down to the beach.
Cala Falcó is a quiet spot surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, just ten minutes away from Magaluf and Palma Nova. It is a small unspoilt beach which is 20 m long and 150 wide. To get here from Cala Vinyes, take the road that goes along the coastline until Cap des Falcó, where there are some steps that go down to the beach, which is 250 m away.

Cala Vinyes is a beach which is 35 m long and 90 m wide, where palm trees have been planted on more than half of the beach area. It is within a development with hotels and apartments built very near the beach.

Magaluf beach is a vast sandy beach which is 850 m long and 35 m wide and which has a sandy seabed. Opposite the beach is Illot de sa Porrassa – a small, narrow island which lies approximately 1,000 m from the shore. This beach is located in the centre of Magaluf, one of the biggest tourist resorts on Mallorca.

Son Maties Beach, also known as Cala Blanca, is a vast sandy spot located in the tourist resort formed by Magaluf and Palma Nova; it is 450 m long and 60 m wide. To get here from Magaluf, you can walk along the beach to the street of Carer Miquel Pinadas, which leads to this beach, which is surrounded by a promenade and hotels and apartments.

Palmanova Beach is 500 m long by 60 m wide, with white sands and a sandy seabed. It is located in the residential area of Palma Nova.

Es Carregador is a beach which is 300 m long and 60 m wide and which is located in the tourist resort formed by Magaluf and Palma Nova. This beach is not as developed as Magaluf, and there are many pine trees here. To get here, walk along Avenue Platja in Palma Nova, which leads straight to the beach.

Platja d’en Blanes is a small sandy beach which is 50 m long and 15 m wide. It is completely surrounded by the tennis courts and the facilities of the Sporting Tennis Club and it is next to Marineland and the luxurious marina of Puerto Portals. Towards the left of the beach, after going round a rocky inlet from which a pier has been built, you will sea the other side of the beach, which has coarser sand and is quieter.

Oratori de Portals Beach is the beach of Puerto Portals and the residential area of Portals Nous; it is located at the end of the port to the left. It has fine sands and is 220 m long and 40 m wide. Opposite the beach is the little island of D´en Salas.

Cala Bendinat is a beautiful beach which is 50 m long and 20 m wide and which is surrounded by a pine grove. To get here from the Bendinat residential area, the street Calvo Sotelo leads straight to the beach.

Cala Contesa is a beautiful little beach which is 35 m long and 10 m wide, with white sands, a sandy seabed and very calm waters. It is surrounded by a thick pine forest and is located in the Illetes residential area. To get here from Illetes, you have to go towards Es Fortí, and just before these old military barracks you will find a small car park. To get to the beach, just go down the steps.

Es Fortí is a beach which is 180 m long and 25 m wide and which has fine sand. There are some little islands in front of this beach, which is located by the Cala Contesa beach, with which it shares services.
Illetes Beach is located in the tourist resort of the same name and is 120 m long and 25 m wide, with white sands and a sandy seabed. Some terraces have been built to enlarge the area for sunbathing.

Portals Vells beach
According to legend, in the fifteenth century some Genoese sailors were caught in a wild storm. Chance led them to Portals Vells, and they entered into the cove to seek shelter. As a sign of their gratitude they left a statue of the Virgin Mary in one of the caves that had been excavated by the quarry workers to extract stone. During the same century the statue was moved from the Mare de Déu de Portals to a chapel in Calvià Vila and, again according to legend, every time the virgin was placed in a spot it would somehow mysteriously return to the cave where it had been left by the sailors.
Palmanova Beach
The beach at Palmanova has been awarded the Q for Quality in recognition of the services which it offers tourists. It is the only beach on the Balearic coast which has received said distinction.
