The snow has come to Mallorca

As predicted by the weather forecasts, temperatures today have dropped with minimal next to 5º C. The level of snow in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains has dropped to 800 metres, and at the moment the Puig Major and other peaks in the central area of the mountains are covered with snow, which has caused the closure of some roads. In the coming days, are expected temperatures lower than those of today, with a maximum around 12º C.

Yesterday were formed various cap de fibló (small tornadoes) in the south of Mallorca, between Sa Dragonera Island and the archipelago of Cabrera, leaving spectacular images which can be seen following this link. As they took place on the sea, there wasn’t any unfortunate destruction, although there have been cancellation in maritime communications, given the poor condition of the sea.
