Es Grau

Es Grau - Maó - Menorca

The tiny fishermen´s village called Es Grau, has some nice cafes and restaurants due to its proximity to the sea. The first houses date from the end of the 19th century.

The Es Grau beach, separated from the S’Albufera by woods, is long and with fine sand; its waters are quite shallow and lined by a string of dunes. It belongs to the Natural Park of S´Albufera de Es Grau. The bay is practically closed to the sea and protected by the d´en Colom Island. Its dune system is very well preserved and a stroll along it will take us to solitary and hidden coves. During the summer season, there is a daily boat service to the d’en Colom Island.
