Located in the centre of the Raiguer district, Binissalem was declared a historic-artistic site in 1983. This municipality is presided over by Mount Bellveure.
Its religious and civil architecture, numerous manor homes and the small country house of Biniagual in the southern area of the municipality, which has been totally restored by its current owner, are outstanding examples of its cultural heritage.
The whole zone is famous for the quality of its stone works and above all, its exquisite wines, which have the denomination of origin of Binissalem.
