The Church of Castellitx is a small temple built in the 14th century; it is located at the top of a small hill from where visitors are afforded views over the fertile lands which surround the area. To get here, take the road to Llucmajor from Algaida and after about 2.5 km take the signposted turn-off to the church. Every year in spring the festival of pancaritat is held here, which has its roots in the giving of bread to the poor; the entire population of Algaida comes to the church on this day to celebrate the festival.
