This settlement outstands for a talaiot, which is, one of the most spectacular and well preserved in Minorca. This unique monument has a lovely doorway with a monolith lintel on top. Amongst the excavations carried out, other nearby housings were found in front, as well as various signs of the existence of a bronze forge.
In es Fornàs de Torelló there is a paleo-Christian basilisk, which is a singular chamber with its head in the eastern direction; while observing it, we may easily get carried away by its Roman mosaic floor from the 6th century a.C., divided in three theme tapestries of different periods.
