The Platja de ses Illetes is a beautiful beach 450 metres long with an average width of 60 metres. Although it is an unspoilt beach has a high occupancy degree, provided that this is one of the most popular and crowded beaches on Formentera. It is situated at four kilometres form La Savina, a spot very well protected thanks to some little island in the north of the island. This wonderful natural area is part of Ses Salines Natural area, declared Human Heritage by the Unesco. Having a special relevance the dune system surrounding this beach, which reaches the Llevant beach, and the posidonia meadow under its crystal clear waters almost like a paradise. Illetes Beach has such a gentle slope, that after 50 metres from the coast there is just a depth of 1,5 metres. It can be easily reached following the traffic signs, and by bus.
