Caló de sa Torre: this beach has the advantage of being in an area which has hardly any buildings and which is well preserved, with the remains of a watchtower built in 1626 to prevent pirate attacks being of particular note. The beach has medium-grain sand and is 35 m long and 25 m wide. To get here, head towards Mondragó from Porto Petro and the beach is signposted.
Caló des Homos Morts: the translation of the name of this beach is ´the little cove or the dead men´. The beach is 50 m long and 5 m wide, with buildings near the shore. There is a small pier used by the tourist boats which come from Porto Petro and sail along the coastline. To get here you have to walk from the beach of Caló de sa Torre towards the Club Mediterraneé complex.
Caló de ses Egos: this small sandy beach is 20 m long and 55 m wide; it gets very crowded with guests from the nearby hotels. It is located at the end of the street of Sa Marina.
Caló des Pou: this beach is located in a residential area near the Marina of Cala d´Or at the end of the street of Carrer Pou. It has hardly been developed and has some beautiful luxurious villas; it´s 25 m long by 115 m wide. From the beach you can see Es Fortí – a military building built in 1730 to prevent artillery attacks from the sea, which is now open to the public as a museum. It has fine white sand, and there are some palm trees at the back of the beach.

Cala Gran: this is the largest beach in Cala d´Or; it is 60 m long and 170 m wide, and is very well protected by cliffs. Around the beach dozens of villas have been built, most of which are well integrated into the landscape. At the back of the beach there is a park for children. Its central location behind the square of Plaça Elivissa means that it tends to get crowded, as many guests from the nearby hotels and apartments come here.

Cala d´Or or Caló de ses Dones: you reach this beach, which is 35 m long and 65 m wide, by going down the street of Carrer Cala d´Hort. It´s located in a residential area with a hotel and low-rise villas nearby, which have been well integrated into the landscape, with part of the existing vegetation having been preserved. To enlarge the crowded sunbathing area, at the back of the beach some terraces were built and covered with sand.

Cala Esmeralda: this is one of the best-preserved beaches out of all of the holiday resorts, with beautiful blue waters. The hotels and apartments here have been built at a certain distance from the beach, preserving part of its original vegetation. This beach, which is 20 m long and 25 m wide, can be reached by following the street of Carrer Felanitx.
Cala Ferrera: although it forms part of Cala d´Or, it actually falls within the municipal district of Felanitx. The beach, which is 60 m long and 150 m wide, gets crowded, and hotels have been built very close to it.

Cala Serena: like Cala Ferrara, this beach is also located within the municipal district of Felanitx; it is 20 m long and 70 m wide, with fine white sand. The right end of the beach is free from development, and there are some villas, which form part of the Cala Serena residential area, on the left-hand side. The cliffs surrounding the beach contain caves, some of which you can enter.
